Sesame is located
on Upper Street, between Angel Station and Islington Green
.Angel Station is about three minutes' walk away.
Opening times are::Tuesday
- Saturday, 11 - 6:30, by chance or by appointment.

Arriving by tube: Angel station (Northern
line Bank branch). When you leave the station, continue
straight ahead down Upper Street – Sesame is
on your right. Other nearby stations include Essex
Road
(10 minutes walk) and Highbury and Islington (15 minute
walk at the other end of Upper Street).
Arriving by bus: Bus routes 4, 19, 30,
38, 43, 56, 73, 153, 214 and 274 all stop nearby.

are numerous carparks around the Business Design Centre
just across the road. The gallery also has a 20 minute
loading bay directly outside the main entrance which
can be used from Monday - Saturday between 1pm & 7pm.
Artist Applications:
We review
artist applications by email only. Please do not send catalogues,
slides, CDs, etc.
as they will not be reviewed or returned.
When submitting by email, please put “Artist Application” in
the subject and include a link to your website only.
If
you do not have a website, please send three images and
an up-to-date artist CV. The images should be no more than
250KB in size each, with the email no larger than 1MB in
total. Emails larger than this are automatically deleted.
Please also note that, while we try to review and respond
to all applications, due to the volume of applications
we receive we cannot guarantee a reply. Thank you for your
