Upper Street becomes Art Central this January.

The London Art Fair, one of the major events on London's art calendar, is being held at the Business Design Centre from 14th - 18th January, just across the road from Sesame Art. To coincide with this, you are invited to two new shows at Sesame Art, giving you more reasons to combine a visit to Sesame with a trip to the London Art Fair:

Friday 9th January: Emotions in Stone: Mark Humphrey Sculpture
Reception with the artist: Friday 9th, 6:00 - 8:30pm

Mark Humphrey celebrates his recent election to the National Society of Painters, Printmakers and Sculptors with a show of his work that will act as both a retrospective and a timely insight into this sculptor's progression into the next phase of his career.

Wednesday 14th January: Henrijs Preiss & Paul Hickinbotham
Reception with the artists: Friday 16th January, 6:00 - 8:30pm

Henrijs Preiss creates precious mystical works on wood through a distinctive combination of colour, texture, and geometry.

Paul Hickinbotham is a contemporary photographer whose work has been used in projects such as the Fatboy Slim Live on Brighton beach CD.
