New Artist: Marcus Nisbet

Marcus Nisbet has worked for many years as a private portrait artist, developing a strong realist technique and a control of the many elements that go towards creating balanced, penetrating figurative painting. His personal work, coming to light now through Sesame, explores issues of masculinity with a mature and thoughtful tone.

Henrijs Preiss Solo Show The show will follow Henrijs' return from his artist residency at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art in the USA, and will mark the development of his work in response to his North American experiences.

Matthew Small Solo Show Already recognised and renowned for his unique approach to portrait painting, Matthew Small's 2005 show at Sesame is set to explore his treatment of new themes and subject matter.
